TERRY AND THE PIRATES

CONTENTS:

     This series began on NBC's Red network on 11/01/37 and ran until 06/01/38 as a three times a week broadcast series sponsored by Dari-Rich.  Beginning on 09/26/38 it was switched to NBC Blue and continued until 03/22/39.  The second series was sponsored by Libby's and carried over WGN in the Midwest weekdays from 10/16/41 to 05/29/42.  It followed Terry Lee adventures in the Orient against the Dragon Lady.  The third and final series was heard from 02/01/43 to 06/30/48 over ABC/Blue weekdays, sponsored by Quaker Puffed Wheat or Puffed Rice.  Each episode is 15 minutes in length.  Jackie Kelk, Cliff Carpenter were heard as Terry Lee in the earlier episodes.  Owen Jordan during the war years and Bill Fein in the postwar broadcasts.  Agnes Moorehead, Adelaide Klein and Marions Sweet as the Dragon Lady.
