TARZAN AND THE FIRES OF TOHR

CONTENTS:

     This 15 minute per episode serial was heard in 1936 following the earlier 39 episode run of Tarzan And The Diamond Of Asher.  Tarzan and his friend Pauyl D'Arno are on the trail of Achmed, a slave trader.  They come to the rescue of Major Burton Ashley and the remnants of his safari.  The little party includes an American woman, Janet Burton, an Irish guide, Terrence O'Rourke, and Wong Ti, a Chinese scientist.  They are seeking the lost city of Thor, located in the depths of East-Central Africa.  The following episodes tell of their adventures and battles against Ataeh, the evil Queen of Thor, and her legions of savage giant yellow me.  Tarzan was played by Carlton KaDell, Ralph Scott as Paul D'Arnot and Karena Shields as Helen Gregory.  John McIntire was the announcer.
