     Raymond Edward Johnson (of Inner Sanctum Mysteries fame) starred in the title role of Mandrake.  This series aired over the Mutual radio network from 11/11/40 until 02/06/42 originally as a three days a week serial and then five days a week beginning in 1941.  Mandrakes assisant, Lothar, was played by Juano Hernandez.
